R. J. England Consulting Ltd. has the expertise to handle the design of mechanical systems encountered in today’s buildings.

Our staff have developed their knowledge of the industry over the past 50 plus years, including not only traditional consulting mechanical engineering services, but also extensive experience in mechanical systems trouble shooting, project management, building code compliance, owner’s representation, building resource management, and building resource conservation.

Bob England

P.Eng.
Partner

Bob is a senior engineer who has been in the building mechanical engineering industry since 1974. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc.M.E. (Great Distinction) in 1976 and became a registered Professional Engineer in 1978. Over his career, Bob has worked on projects across Canada—from Vancouver Island to Nova Scotia—ranging from condition assessment reports to the design of half-million square foot building complexes. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba, and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of Saskatchewan, and the National Fire Prevention Association.

In 2003, Bob founded the company and has continued to lead with expertise and dedication.

Tim England

Mechanical Designer
Partner

Tim is a senior technician, having developed corporate Revit expertise while developing his skills in the buildings mechanical engineering design and construction sciences. Tim’s experience in the food services and related industries helps to provide our clients with hands on experience in developing superior solutions.

Tim joined R. J. England Consulting Ltd. in 2010.

Travis Blampied

Partner

Travis graduated from the University of Regina in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering. Travis’ technical and personal skills work well in serving the needs of our clients. Travis is currently enrolled as an Engineer in Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, and is a member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.

Travis joined R. J. England Consulting Ltd. in 2020.

Gage Wendel

Partner

Gage graduated from the University of Regina in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering. Gage’s background in the sheet metal trade brings to our team an expertise that is important to our ability to deliver constructability for our project work. Gage is currently enrolled as an Engineer in Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, and is a member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.

Gage joined R. J. England Consulting Ltd. in 2021.

Pat Shaw

Book Keeper

Pat took over the administration and bookkeeping roles for R. J. England Consulting Ltd. in 2024 and brings her skills and good nature to our team.

Participation

R. J. England Consulting Ltd. staff have participated in a broad range of community and industry-related organizations.
Some of our highlights include:

  • Presentations at international society meetings of the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, and chairing international working groups at the society level.
  • Presentations delivered at local ASHRAE meetings, Canadian City’s Energy Conference meetings, Provincial Parks, University of Regina, Recreation Association meetings, and Condominium Owners Association meetings.
  • Participation in the City of Regina Mayor’s Green Ribbon Committee to provide direction to the City of Regina on climate change issues.
  • Participation in code workshops, seminars, webinars, and manufacturer presentations and facility tours.
